a saturn.. fast?
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...&category=2583
first of all, i'd like to say, there is nothing about a saturn that even comes close to the word fast. I thought this was pretty funny, seein as how the whole description he brags about the car bein so awesome, and fast, and something about taking corners at 70 mph, no slipping, or leaning??? Then at the end of the description it says it has been well taken care of.. yeah, ok, when monkeys fly out my arse... |

HAHA! That saturn isn't even CLOSE to anything fast! I have a 93 SC2 (DOHC Coupe) which is an autotragic Even though, I swapped to the OEM "Header" from a 91/2 DOHC Saturn, as well as put an intake on it, and I managed a 15.5@85mph...

"I’ve got too many speeding tickets and need to slow down and get a van."- haha thats great. i bet a 1993 chevy astro van with 300,000 miles on it can beat that saturn, while taking corners at 80 mph without fliping over

I did not see what type of engine it has. It is even mentioned?
It is likely the DOHC 1.9L. THey are pretty peppy engines. I enjoyed driving a 93 with a manual. But this guy is one big liar. If you popped the clutch you wouldn't even be able the squeal the tires and on an automatic? for get it. both of my sisters have newer DOHC 1.9L and they are not near as impressive as he makes it sound. |

I had this old clunker that overheated and cracked the block. I dropped a junkyard engine in it, and now I'm bailing before I have to address all the problems that caused. My trash can be your treasure!! Brian |

I like at the end "well taken care of."
Yeah, races all the time, probably blew his motor and thats why there's a new one in there, and takes corners at 70. Yup.... he knows how to treat a saturn the way its suppost to be treated.

I have a Saturn as a daily driver, and I'll be the first to say that they're slow as sh!t. Of course mine's an older TBI SOHC instead of MPI DOHC, but I've driven those and haven't been impressed with them either. BTW, if I pop the clutch, I can leave nice dual strips for about 5 feet, but Saturn trannys don't like to be stressed and will give up quick. That's how I blew my first trans, beat on it too much. My C-10, even though it doesn't run so good right now, could still beat it though.
