Can someone with factory A/C please post a pic of the spring on the flapper valve in the Pass side cowel

There is a vacuum operated 'door' at top right of the cowl and also one that replaces the right kick panel vent that is on non-A/C cabs. both utilize springs. It sounds like you are asking about the top one. Right? Below is a picture of the actual spring for the top. Are you looking for that or the spring installed? There was a thread a few months ago regarding this. I'll try to find it.

Sorry I can't. I deleted it all on my 71 to make it colder inside. I took it all out and blocked it off with sheet metal to make the AC cool better. I also made the passenger side flapper in the cab manual so it stays open all the time to recirculate the cab air instead of bringing in outside air all the time.

My Driver Seeing the USA in a 71 Upstate SC GM Truck Club 2013,14 and 2016 Hot Rod Pour Tour http://upstategmtrucks.com/ Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun! It sucks not being able to hear! LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB! After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.
