removing oxydation from aluminum wheels

I Have set od aluminum honeycomb wheels off my panel.Im want to clean them get oxydation off and polish them with buffer some. Have not decided if keeping or selling after they are done. SInce I have to have something on there till I can convert every thing to 5 lug I will probably just run them for while.

Anything that will help get surface ready for polishing short of sanding?

Re: removing oxydation from aluminum wheels

Hi Chris,

Doing some research a few days ago on this very subject and came across this product:

http://www.farmandfleet.com/products...l#.U-Ll6p6cJIM

There are other similar "aluminum brightener" products out there that spray on and rinse off.

Hope that helps.
