Re: PMP 69 BBC build

Sorry I have to rotate all my photos. Some back ground on the truck. Born in 1968 Janesville wi and lived in east dubuque its entire work life. At 15 I purchased it for my car with lawn mowing money drove it every day to high school and a few years after. Its been sitting since I put the bb in because I didnt have the money to go forward and I new it was at a point in needed alot. Amazingly the paint is still pretty good even after I beat the heck out of it through its life.

I like it! Very similar to where I want to be with my 67, except I won't drop mine...the county road to the highway sucks too bad and I'd be bottoming out all the time lol

Theres no reason with the right shocks and springs you cant go that low I have plenty of room. Im more worried about bending a rim so the front tire is going to be a 245 40 20. Unless off roading lol my stock audi is still lower and my truck has more travel. Just an fyi

I already know the front tire has to be larger. The pot holes are terrible here

Re: PMP 69 BBC build

sounds like my 4x4, I think it's on motor #5. I bought the 2wd with the 454 in it running, but it drives like a sow and has a lot of performance parts in the top end, but still stock bottom end, so I think I'll take it all apart and start over.

Re: PMP 69 BBC build

Yeah, we see a lot of bent rims running low profile tires here. I may end up bagging it so I can change the ride height. That's if I even keep it, I've had it about a month and drove it twice....I think I have 5 miles on it now lol

Re: PMP 69 BBC build

My old man has a 57 that was bagged by ridetech we pulled it off and put a whole suspension change wirh adjustable coil overs. The car would suddenly drop on the interstate freaky as hell no brakes no steering. But to be honest thats the way I was going until we had all the problems.
