Rear bumper brackets?

I have a 70 short bed c10 and I have a bumper with 4 holes, but I need some kind of brackets there is nothing on the back of the truck to mount the bumper too. What would I need? I tried a search but there is tons and tons of different ones.

Re: Rear bumper brackets?

I have a spare set of brackets used to mount a factory step bumper to a C20. In the unlikely event they are the same as what you need, let me know.

Re: Rear bumper brackets?

Do you have leaf springs or coil springs in the rear? If short wheel base it does make a difference to get correct brackets to fit. Once you get that figured out, call on Dave if his are coils or give gmc Paul's or Wes at classic heartbeat a call and get a set for leaf springs for short wheel base 4x4 with leaf springs.

Re: Rear bumper brackets?

Again check with Dave or call one of the board venders, the coil spring brackets are common and relatively cheap compared to the leaf spring versions

Re: Rear bumper brackets?

I found a set of brackets. Do you know what bolts I need to mount the bumper to them? Some kind of stainless carraige bolts?
