sloshtubz and hood hinges

Can you run Eddie Motorsports billet hinges with sloshtubz in a 1976 c10? Or are sisco's the only hinges that will work?

If sisco's are the only hinge that will work, do they hold the hood open or do you need to prop it when it is up?

Thanks
-JW

Re: sloshtubz and hood hinges

Cant really answer your question but I have this pic from when we first bolted on my EMS hinges. Might give you an idea of where they sit.

I like them a lot.
They bolted right up, adjusted the hood once & was done.
I also like that they will hold you hood open at different heights (for example at a show I usually open mine just below even with the top of the cab instead of fully open)

They will hold the hood open higher or lower than this pic with no problems.

Thank you!

All the trim is the original GM trim that came on the truck.

I'll get you measurements this evening.

Re: sloshtubz and hood hinges

If I remember right, the Sisco hinge will hold itself open when fully up.

I believe so too. I remember they had a video on their facebook pages at one time showing them operation the hinges on a truck.
