How many wires in the doors?

I'm out of town and away from the truck or else I'd check. I'm going to be pulling both doors and planning on splicing in a male/female connector for the wires in each door to make future removal easier.

The truck is an '85 with power windows and power locks.

Thanks

There is alot, but up in the corners by the kick panels they have 2 plug in conecters on each side that you can unplug but I think you have to take off the rubber boots between the door and cab and the ones I saw were riveted on

Re: How many wires in the doors?

Oh I didn't know there were already connectors. My plan was to splice some in so I could easily take the doors off without cutting the wires. If there are already connectors there, then I don't need to worry about it!

That was nice of you to pull out the fender just to take a pic.
