Rearend Swap?
I know the early ('67-'68) reaends are more narrow than the '70 models, but will the early rears fit my '70 model? Is the track width too narrow for wheel clearance? Thanks for any input.

Re: Rearend Swap?
Yes as long as the leafs are the same you can stick a 67-69 rear end under a 70. 70 was the oddball year for rear ends. Some came with the narrower 67-69 rear end and some came wuth a wider 71-72 rear end but ALL of the rear ends were 6 luggers for the half tons. You can stick the 5 lug axles in the wider rear ends though

Re: Rearend Swap?
Both are coil spring rears. Do they swap?

Re: Rearend Swap?
The same goes if you have coils.

Re: Rearend Swap?
Yes the full rear end will swap. If youre only swapping axles you need ti measure to make sure the 70 has the narrower rear end
