Wiper problem
On my 79 when I turn the windshield wipers on they spray every time no matter what how can I fix that

It is a short in the wiper motor. If left on to long it will over heat and stop running. Replace the wiper motor and pump as one unit. O'Reilly's has them and I think that I paid less than $50.00 for a new one.

Exactly right. My 83 did the exact same thing. Thought it was the switch, but it turned out to be a shorted out wiper motor/pump assembly. Go get a new one and you'll be good.
