Re: 1972 c10 rally wheel
Rally wheel was not an option until the squarebody trucks (starting in 1975 or so).
Here is the generic info packet from the GM Heritage Center archive, showing all the available option content for a '72 pickup: https://www.gmheritagecenter.com/doc...olet-Truck.pdf K

Re: 1972 c10 rally wheel
My dad found the truck's original hubcaps and I am putting those one once everything else is fixed.
I just hope I don't lose one. |

Re: 1972 c10 rally wheel
When I first started on my truck. I really wanted to use the original, full wheel covers with whitewalls. But I couldn't find a set in the condition I wanted. I like the ones with the blue bowtie in the center with the higher shine than the '72 version that had the yellow ring and bowtie.. So, like many others, I had a set of 8" rally wheels powder coated silver and put them on instead..

Re: 1972 c10 rally wheel
Personally, I think the only place a rally wheel should be is 1) in the spare location, or 2) under full wheel covers.
They make me vomit. and yes, I have them on my truck now, but until my steel wheels are finished being painted, I will have to live with them. P.S (they look great on a 67 Camaro) |
