Smaller brake booster
I thought I was going to have a problem with fitment but didn't want to cross that road until it was a problem for sure. My booster fits but doesn't allow the removal of the valve cover. I am running the tall Chevrolet big block covers and my motor is solid lift so the covers will have to come off for setting valves once a year. What are you guys running for smaller booster that's budget minded?

Re: Smaller brake booster
Hydro boost would give you more room, and you wouldn't have to be concerned about engine vacuum issues and great braking performance.

Re: Smaller brake booster
I just ran into this same problem on my big block swap. What are the part numbers for the 7" brake boosters?

Re: Smaller brake booster
Running the smaller boosters really cleans up the compartment. The only problem like stated above is if the cams not providing enough vacuum to operate properly. Ebay n most of the booster manufactures have plenty to choice from. On my stockish 350 works well with the smaller version.
