WTB: 65-66 BBW cab/doors or whole truck
Looking for a BBW cab and doors and a chassis. Needs to be as rust free as possible. Will consider a running driving truck depending on what it is and price. Please post pics if you have something as well as price. Thanks guys.

Re: WTB: 65-66 BBW cab/doors or whole truck
I have a solid BBW cab that will be a fantastic builder for someone in that it needs nothing replaced EXCEPT the floor hump is cut on where somebody moved the 3 speed from the column to the floor, so I already cut a whole perfect hump from another cab and that will be included so you have all the right stuff to stitch that up and make it 100% again. Cab is buried to some degree and it will be a while before I can dig it out and take pics, so let me know how serious you are about paying in the 700-800 dollar range for a nice one, and how cool you are coming to Alabama to get it, and if all that works I will dig it out for you. Its in my dry barn but behind a lot of hoods, tailgates, etc

Re: WTB: 65-66 BBW cab/doors or whole truck
Well, no there are no doors on it at present and I never planned to use the VIN tag on it - was only planning to switch that cab out for an active titled truck which had a rotted cab - so the identity of the truck stayed the same and the actual sheetmetal was all that changed. However, since Alabama doesn't require a title on anything older than 1974 I could give you a bill of sale you could in turn use in Georgia to title this trucks' VIN if you wanted, but it was a longbed, so you would have to be building a longbed seems like.....

Re: WTB: 65-66 BBW cab/doors or whole truck
So, to sell this cab I have to dig it out anyway, so I will proceed to do that this weekend and get you some shots of it in any case....if you pass, I am sure as nice as this one is, someone else will gladly take it so no problem either way....

Re: WTB: 65-66 BBW cab/doors or whole truck
I have been watching this post for a while, I think we talked about this same thing last year. You were tied up with quite a few things and didn't have the time.
I have everything you are asking about not 80 miles south of you Really nice 66 BBW fully loaded cab with decent doors.I used the original doors on another project SWB frame set up with front 6 lug disc and brand new at the time front suspension parts, had only 500 miles when I sold that cab and front end and was goping to use the one you are probably interested in. Nice rust free SWB fleet bed The cab is from Oklahoma clear title the bed is still mounted to the rolling frame, clean it up and go, auto trans v-8 was in it , not sure of the rear ratio but should be in the middle, the cab has been painted red inside, new bench seat, gauge panel , new carpet check it out! pm me if interested and I will give you my number. thanks, Steve |

Re: WTB: 65-66 BBW cab/doors or whole truck
Stockish, not sure if you meant you wanted a GMC cab like above mentioned or not, but I am going to assume my Chevrolet cab was not what you were wanting and go ahead and get it listed on the parts for sale board and forums. Let me know if you change your mind....
