One Piece Pan Gasket for a 250
Does any one know if there is such an thing as a one-piece oil pan gasket for a Chevy 250? I have to replace a piston and figured on upgrading the gasket and rear main seal while it is tore down. If not does anyone have any preference for which one they would use. Thanks.

Re: One Piece Pan Gasket for a 250
Based on its design, I think it would be impossible for there to be a 1 piece oil pan gasket for the 250. I used a 4 piece Felpro and 1 of the 4 pieces is slightly different from the original to create a better seal. I haven't had any issues with the Felpro.
Don't hold me to this, but I believe the front piston should be TDC or the crank gets in the way of the oil pan when you try to remove it.
