New guy, PNW
Hey guys, long time chevy guy, first time C5 owner. My name is Clark, and I live in washington. I found a real clean 72 blazer, and just couldn't help myself. I've lusted after these rigs for a long time, and finally pulled the trigger.
I'm sure many of you are already familiar with this truck, but i've got some requests to introduce myself and share some pics, so that's enough talking, onto the pics. |

Beautiful. The only thing I think looks a little off is the rear seat height, In the pics it looks to be about 4 inches off the floor. That can't be very comfortable.

I couldn't say I haven't sat back there. That being said, that's how everyone runs them, my kid loves it, and there is a ton of leg room for adults. bouncy/cst: Thanks guys! |

Beautiful truck. Glad it made it back to the "board family".
Looks like you have a lot of other toys there too.

I'm jealous... just as I said I would be. Not poke a doll that looks like you with a pin jealous, but definitely jealous. Congratulations, you have very cool Blazer in your stable!

Very nice! I've always liked that Blazer and had wondered where it had ended up. Glad to see it is back!

Re: New guy, PNW
I'm planning to ditch the clear lenses because I think it looks a bit ricey. Then I might change up the air ride control setup with an accuair contoroller just for the convinience factor. That is about it, this rig is really dialed in.
I've spent years on different projects, and as much as i enjoy building something and having the pride in it. This rig is about spending time with my family, and not in the shop. |

Great ride, wheels suit it very well. Glad to hear you plan to just enjoy the ride with the family.

Re: New guy, PNW
Very nice! Great paint/wheel combo, great stance. I was going to say I liked the clear lens everywhere until you said you're ditching them...I like them. I would think going to red/orange will be "too much color", unless you go with grey or smoke? Had some other questions I edited out since the CL ad was still up. Got all the info there.......again, very nice. Double wall top? Have you ever removed it?

Re: New guy, PNW
It's a single wall top and it came off already. I did the lights also. I think it looks a lot classier, but maybe that's just me.
I didn't replace the lights, but had them vinyl wrapped. We did the tail lights in a transparent red film, the bumper lights amber, and a solid red bowtie too just to see how it looks. This stuff goes on easy, comes off later if you don't like it, and it's cost effective compared to buying new parts. My good friend helped me out, he can work some serious magic. Re: New guy, PNW
Looks great.....They sure don't looked wrapped. I was more concerned about you doing the side marker lights in color and taking away from the side view. Have fun!

Re: New guy, PNW
Sweeet, I like the pinstripe on the back; enough to rob the idea lol. I reckon we're far enough apart to not park beside each other.
