71-71 brake differences
I'm going nuts trying to figure this out! What size lines go to front and what size to rear? One front brake hose is different size? Hoses seem to be short?does 1/4 line run from prop valve to rear hose then split to3/16? I have read several threads there seems to be some different opinions? My truck is 71

Re: 71-71 brake differences
1/4" line runs from the prop valve to the flexible hose connection in the rear. The flexible hose goes to a "T" on the differential and from there to the brake cylinders, 3/16" line is used. On the front 3/16" line goes from the prop valve to the flexible lines which go to the calipers.
I am not sure why the hoses have different size fittings but all the ones I have seen have them. If the hoses are too short, then either the brackets are in the wrong spots or the hoses are not made correctly. Try checking them after you install them as the correct hosess are not very long Jim
