Factory 8-Track?
My old man has had this truck since 74 and we were talking about the price of 8-tracks... I was wanting to know if this was factory?
He is telling me it has been there as long as he knows... thanks, Cleatus

No that is not factory. The factory 8s had GM script in the door and were not that large. WES www.ClassicHeartbeat.com

How about mine? I've heard arguments both ways about this being a correct tape player for trucks.

Whats the service tag say for numbers on it .. if its still there.. it has correct door on the 8 track... I'm going by what GM put in there advertising.... but it could be original equipment. Here's a pic of GM advertising of the 8 track.
