control arm
I just had our 2007 Equinox rejected for the Left front lower control arm rear bushing being worn.
How much of a job to replace this and what do I need in the way of special tools. I have the use of a lift for this but didn't know if this was something I should attempt as I have never heard of this before so it is all new to me.Are there any videos of this for I do like visuals when doing something I know nothing about. Does any one have a copy of the manual that tells how to do this. thanks for any and all assistants.

Re: control arm
The bushings are pretty easy to replace on those. Crawl underneath and look. You don't have to remove the arm from the car to replace it.
GM has TSBs out on these bushings An alignment should be done afterwards you could try a search on youtube. |
