Let me see your stance!!!

One of, if not THE, most important part of a truck's appearance is the stance. You could make an 'ol beater look lean and mean, and a pristine truck look like a it belongs to a chic. However, not enough adequate info is out there the help others determine what stance they like. Let see some pics of your trucks with the following info provided in the following format... Let's see what you got!!!!!!!!!

Truck Year:
Lowered/Lifted Front: (ex. +/- 2 in.)
Lowered/Lifted Back:
Wheel Make/Model:
Front Wheel Size: (ex. 18x8)
Rear Wheel Size:
Front Wheel Displacement: (+/-)
Rear Wheel Displacement:
Tire Size (Optional):

Re: Let me see your stance!!!

Really not much help mines a GMC with leaf springs in the rear so we've done a few different things like removing leafs, building custom rear shackles, etc. The front is just stock springs with McGauheys 2-1/2" drop spindles only.

Ultimately would like to go with C5s-20s on my truck, like I photo-shopped here

Nice rides everyone, here's mine with 2.5" spindles and 5" springs in the rear. Thinking about going lower with some 1" blocks?

Thanks Jim. Only took 20 years for me to finally get it this way!

Man, what a beauty!

Dumb question: Did you use the wheel spacers to fill out the wheel wells? Or was there some other reason, backspacing?

Thanks! -Ed

Appreciate it Ed.

I added the spacers because I didn't like the look of the rear tires being in tighter than the front. Just a visual thing. It does fill up the wheel wells also.

I've read that a lot of guys don't like using spacers, but I have had good luck with them. And, I don't plan on abusing this truck and putting a ton of stress on the drivetrain.

You know Jay, back in the day I wouldn't have given that color combo a second look stock. BUT with that stance, tire/wheel combo I have to say it's absolutely gorgeous. It looks killer to me. Love it.

Thanks, Boog. When I started my build I was not going this direction either. It wasn't going to have any trim or white paint on the side, just the roof. And, I really debated going with dark blue. But, in the middle of doing the truck I had to take about a 6 month break due to $$ and family issues. So I had a lot of time to think about it and look at at a crap load of pictures of other trucks, and it steered me towards this look.

I really appreciate the positive feedback. Take care.

Boog, I agree. There was a Super on CL Little Rock that color a while back, and I kept going back to it. Wish I had gone to look now.
