Re: 1972 chevy k20 front brake hose info?

My only suggestion (not much help, I know) is buy or borrow one from a parts store. I bought new ones at NAPA recently, perfect fit and not too expensive IIRC. At least you'll be able to see exactly what size/type fitting is used, as well as the threads.

Edit: checked online, found p/n UP 36761 with pics and a description including thread size.

It's a NAPA part number -- did you check with a NAPA store? Were you able to click on the link I posted? Here's what the link has about the threads on each end of the hose:
Hose End Type 1 : Banjo - 0.44
Hose End Type 2 : Male/female - 5/8"-18 Ext & 3/8"-24 Int

Re: 1972 chevy k20 front brake hose info?

I don't recall the thread size on the frame end of my 72 K20 but i bought new hoses from Offroad Designs for my truck after i installed my 4" lift. This is the part number they sent me, if your still searching maybe a call to them would help id the thread size?

(GU30071) BRAKE LINES - VEHICLE KIT (‘73-‘78.5 -- 4-6” lift) (2 fronts, 1 rear)
