rocker but keeps coming loose?

One of my rocker arms keeps coming loose every few hundred miles, all the studs (pressed in) are the same height so I'm fairly certain it's an issue with the nut itself. My question is can I put poly locks on or are those only for high performance type heads? I recently got the truck and it's got a rebuilt 350 with about 30k miles, nothing special.

i had a l6 250 cid that did the same thing until I replaced all of the nuts with brand new ones. never had a problem after that. just my 2 cents.

did u go standard nuts or polys?

Forgot to thank you for the advice, I got new rocker nuts and it has yet too loosen so thanks again!

Poly locks might not fit under your valve covers.
Take off the bad one and give it a squeeze in a heavy duty vise. It'll oval it a touch.
I did that on one 40 years ago. Tried a new one but that didn't help. An old rodder said 'squeeze it'. I thought 'what's he smokin'! LOL!!
But it worked.

huh makes sense I guess but I think I may just replace them all, thanks tho!

I'm not year what year the motor is but that shouldn't make a difference correct?
