Been wanting one for several years. Finally had the disposable income and garage space to do something about it. Found this on Craigslist last week, picked it up yesterday. 72 GMC 3/4 ton 4x4. 4 inch lift. Less than 20k miles on the crate 350hp 350V8. Less than 10k on the crate TH400. 1 ton rear end.

Was used to haul firewood, so the bed is effectively destroyed. Rest of the body is a bit rough, but very workable. Typical rust in driver's side rocker, but that's all I've found so far. Driver door will need to be reskinned.

But it runs strong. Fires up at the first starter crank.

And it scares the crap out of the wife. That'll keep her from wanting to drive it.
