Education needed about aftermarket steering columns
I have several trucks that I have/am changing engine/trans combinations in. I would like to put aftermarket steering columns in each of them. Ididit/Flaming River etc. I would like to know how they would eventually wire up to everything, back-up lights, turn signals, horn, hazards etc since I am changing everything out.
Truck 1. Originally 67 GMC V-6, 4-speed. I will be going to V-8, auto with floor shift/Lokar Truck 2. Originally 1970 CHEVY V-8, 3 on tree. I will be going to V-8, auto with floor shift/Lokar Truck 3. Originally 1969 CHEVY Strait-6, 3 on the tree. I will be going to V-8, auto with floor shift/Lokar Will this be all plug and play or is there going to be some type of wiring to do in my future? Should I need to be considering new harnesses like Painless/Etc. Thank you for your knowledge. John Last edited by john@thepier; 11-19-2014 at 01:44 PM. |

Re: Education needed about aftermarket steering columns
Should be plug and play on those. If you are looking for 4 speed factory tilts I can fix you up with those, but they don't come cheap. If interested PM and I can give you more informationon them, thanks Les
