Lift

has anybody ever made their own lift kit? i want to lift my blazer somewhere between 2-4 inches but the cheapest i have found is the 4" from Rough country for $600

For $600, that's probably safer than building your own.

You could buy new front lift springs and do A shackle flip In the rear. Still Gets you four inch lift in the rear but you use your stock Springs. Unless you Need new springs this would work and save a little money. But there really isn't a cheap safe way to build your own lift. Unless you are a engineer and master welder is just buy a kit.
