ignition switch

Anyone know of a decent replacement ignition switch that will fit my 59? I don't want to spend 50 bucks for the stock replacement then have to buy the key portion. Id like to just buy a decent universal that will fit in the slot. what have you guys used beside stock? thanks

Don't know if I may say this with a link, but this is what I used:

For me it's perfect

Re: ignition switch

this fit right in the slot? I had a couple of ignitions laying around and none seemed to fit the key slot.

Re: ignition switch

Oh, I'm sorry.
You want a one on one replacement?

For this switch I made a new ring:

The size of the hole in the car was 1", the switch was 3/4"

All the other ign.switches at right size for my '59 were very, very expensive overhere in Holland....
