Porterbuilt extreme with factory inner wheel wells
I was wondering if it is possible to lay frame with 26" tall tires (205/70R15) and factory inner fender wells. I have not decided whether the truck will ever get large wheels, but if I need aftermarket inner fender wells and hood hinges to fit my 26" tall tires, the decision whether to buy those items will be made for me.
thanks!

Re: Porterbuilt extreme with factory inner wheel wells
On my brothers 74 it hit the inner fenders with a similar sized tire on just tubular control arms and drop spindles.

The decision has been made for you.... You will not be able to run the factory inners and set the frame on the ground. New inners and a set of hood hinges will be in your future. If you are looking for those items.... I know a guy! Nate

I highly recommend the Hill's wheel tubs.
