Front grill fitment

Hi Guys,, im downunder in Australia and need to know if a 64 front grill will fit a 63 c10? I ask because lmc truck don't seem to have a 63 grill in the catalogue?

Yes it fits, but you'll have to drill some new holes in your grill support.
The 64-66 grill is the same so it makes more sense to reproduce, than a one year grill.
Let me guess, the original 63 grill is smashed and missing the headlight rings?

Thanks for the reply.. no, the previous owner has painted it black and bumpers red.. Im wanting to get it back to original..

thats wierd i have a 64-66 grill and just bought a 63 grill support. i have to drill holes or get the 63 type grill from the same guy, but since im goin original also ima just drill the 63 support... my support was damaged btw.

If the '63 grill isn't damaged, why not just repaint it? Even if you have to strip it to bare steel. Installing a '64-'66 grill into your '63 certainly isn't going to get it back to original.

Do you know whether the grille is steel or aluminum? If it's aluminum, you'll want to be careful what stripper you use.
