Question about POL engine mounts

I've got a set of POL engine mounts I'm using to mount my 383 and have run into an issue getting the mounts to line up properly with the engine mount pads.

The tube welded to the frame tube seems to be biased a bit too far forward. This is causing the rear ear of the engine mount pad to hit the frame tube and bend as I let the mounts take up the weight.

I'm wondering if there is a chance these are made wrong, or am I doing something wrong. I can't seem to adjust them enough to allow both ears to mount and allow the bolt to pass through.

Anyone run into this before?

Re: Question about POL engine mounts

the pol mounts move your engine slightly forward. you might be able to elongate the holes. I was planning on running those in my truck but using the 6cyl position

Re: Question about POL engine mounts

I have these mounts on my 67 only because they were with it when I got the truck as a basket case. Did not have any issues with the exception that it had the slightly notch the frame rails to bolt them in.
