Re: K Model Frames
I thought maybe they were the same width for all years but I c they were not, just as the 2wd 60-62 were wider than the 63-66

Re: K Model Frames
I believe that they are pretty close until you get to the back end. the 60-62 have that extension that goes outward.there are some diagrams on here a while back
they were both ladder frames ron |

Re: K Model Frames
http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=325736. this was the link that I was thinking about. on page one there is a picture of a 4 x 4 frame but it is mislabeled as a 63-66 when it is a 60-62 frame and it is the tubular frt cmember(which was also the eng mount) and the outboard rear extensions which signify the early rails. I think if you ran the rails straight back from where you get those extensions mounted; you would get 34" width at the rear. the cab mounting frame brackets are longer on the earlier frame than the 63 and up frames
what are you trying to find? ron |

Re: K Model Frames
do the sills mount right on to of the frame rails or onto brackets on the side of the rails on your 60-62 frames. the 63-66 mounted right on top of the frame rails
