Fleetside Fender support question
Hey guys,
I have a 1971 C10 Fleetside SWB. When I bought the truck, it did not have any of the fender support brackets installed. I have a few questions for you if you don't mind helping a brother out.. 1. Are both the forward and aft (of the rear tire) the same bracket? I mean, are the support brackets the same in front of the tire as the behind the tire? 2. I'm trying to install the brackets rear of the tire. I'm assuming that they will screw to one of the bed channels. When I get under the truck to look, there are no holes in bed channel support where the bracket lines up... Can anyone shoot me a photo of what this is supposed to look like? Thanks in advance guys! |

Re: Fleetside Fender support question
Hey I am not a expert but I have SWB too and I don't think they have a rear support bracket like the long boxes do they just have that sheet metal thing that bolts on the back of the quarter panel

Re: Fleetside Fender support question
Thanks for the reply Shifter4...
The bottom of the fender has a hole for some type of bracket.. Maybe someone on the board can share a photo and help me out. I haven't seen anything in LMC or Brothers other than a support bracket.. Thanks~~! |
