Drivers door build date label picture thead

Guys it would be helpful to have a thread similar to the SPID thread devoted to pictures of the door labels used on the 70-72 trucks. Since they do have the vehicles month/date of manufacture on them it would be helpful to others who want to determine what month/year their truck was built. If you have any collected post them up! I will start it off with what I have.

Re: Drivers door build date label picture thead

Happy to help - but to do so, shouldn't we list plant of manufacture and make for each?

Re: Drivers door build date label picture thead

Do all doors from 70 forward have this label? I have 72 doors on my 71 Jimmy. I say 72 because they have the screw by the vent window. But I do not have a label. I suppose it could have been removed?

Re: Drivers door build date label picture thead

Have question for you guys, any idea how, who and what you need to do if you have to replace the tag? Here is one from my 82 C20 Cab Chassis incomplete truck. This one is affixed to the cab not the door.

Researched it awhile back, found it .. under my 1st saved computer crash in the favorites folder. I was just curious if any one on this site had any more information than I did.
