Exclamation 1986 k10 with new motor an fuel system problems help

hay guys my truck came with a 1992 or 1993 k15 drive train and fuel system everything was changed minus my tank and for some reason my gas gauge doesnt work has anyone on here ever done somthing like this cus id like to have a gas gauge cus its my daily driver also the trans fluid stick doesnt pick up fluid and im not sure why cus it shifts fine any help is much appreciated

You be better off draining the trans and refilling the trans with the proper amount recommended, then check the dipstick. This is the only way to be sure.

Better safe than sorry.
