What do you think of my drive line Angles?
I have a 69 C10 long bed with a 350 crate and 700R4 transmission. 3.07 rear end. I just finished installin 2 1/2 dropped spindles and 4 inch dropped rear springs. I think I may have a slight vibration under hard acceleration that I didn't notice before installing the dropped rear springs. I had the front end aligned and tires balanced two days ago. To eliminate drive line as the cause I determined my two piece drive line angles as set forth below.
What do you think of them? do they look acceptable? If not why not. Thanks Sorry I couldnt figure out how to rotate immage |

I think it looks good. How does it drive? Any vibration?

Re: What do you think of my drive line Angles?
I have s slight vibration under full throttle. Nothing at cruising. Could be something other than drive shaft alignment.
Just trying to eliminate all possibilities. |

Your centre bearing is where the problem is. The u-joint there has no working angle.
Here's a link to figure it out. http://www2.dana.com/pdf/J3311-1-DSSP.pdf And another one. http://www.drivetrain.com/parts_cata..._problems.html |

Re: What do you think of my drive line Angles?
Looking at that again, Geezer right. Although the front and rear joint will cancel themselves out the acceleration and deceleration the shaft are likely transferred to the bearing and frame.
