Have you ever been to the Clifford Performance site. If not, you should, because they have all your 6 cylinder needs....

Well... just dont put 40 series flowmasters on it. I had them on my old 250 I6 and it droned like no tommorow. Im not too sure what muffler would really give you a good tone. Ive never heard Aerochambers on a I6, maybe you should give that a try

Whatever you do, don't use a 12" glasspack

Just use a good 'ol sonic turbo & 2.25" pipe, then dump it @ the rear axle.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.

Back in the '80's, I saw an exhaust manifold from a heavy-duty truck with the 292 engine, & it had two outlets. Remember a 250 with single exhaust is like half of a 500 with duals. Big pipe is good.

Try this place as well:

Stovebolt Engine Company

Check out some of the video clips. Those inlines sound pretty good.

My boat has a 250 I6 and it sounds just as throaty as any small block v8 on the water with stock exhaust.
