What year seats??

Saw these on C.L, he's telling me it is out of a 72 blazer, but look at the hold down pi on the passenger seat. It located close to the door instead of the middle, and the release is just the curved rod and not a release on the back of the seat.
Any idea what these belong to and what they will fit??

Thanks

Re: What year seats??

The seats look like they could be right but the brackets do not. They may be out of a 73-75.
Ask him to measure the holes in the brackets left to right and front to back.

In the 70 and older blazers, was the hold down pin off to the side like this on, and if so, will the bolt pattern work on my 72

I just went down and looked at my 72 tub and it does not have the previsions to bolt it to the side. I guess you could move it just drill out the spot welds relocate were it needs to go. Drill a couple of extra holes and plug weld it into place. Could also replace the rear bracket on the seat see link below I have one on the forum for sale. Either way I would still have him take some measurements of hole spacing just to confirm they do fit. I agree with 61Cadman the seat looks to be correct just recovered at sometime but that doesn't mean they are. Measuring will confirm if they will bolt in I can measure my tub if you can't get to yours with seats and carpet in place.
