Hey guys I have a question for you all! I'm not sure what the name is and that is part of the reason why I can't find anything on it. I am looking for the fiberglass cover for my A/C system that mounts on the outside firewall! What is it called? Or am i better off using fiberglass and repairing the hole? Thanks!

Are you referring to the evaporator case, or "boot"?

I'm guessing yeah it is made of fiberglass. I was thinking of calling it a plenum of some sort. I think a rat or something got in there or somebody accidentally knocked a hole in it at some time and so i get fumes from the engine in the cab and i need to get it fixed by replacing it or repairing it. i would like to go new so it look good.

That would be the evaporator case, the inside the cab part is the plenum.
