C10 LS Swap Column shifter Issues

I installed a 5.3 on a 1968 chevy truck with Gibson long tube headers. Now Im having trouble connecting the linkage rod. I had to remove the pivot bracket so I can install the header on driver side. I tried to fabricate my brackets but haven't been able to make it work. I will like to get some feed back on LOKAR LOK-ACA-1804 cable set up or some thing similar. I read something on this before but I have lost few hours trying to find reviews on this forum with out any luck. If someone can direct me to any links with this info and/or let me know their experience with this issues and post some pictures that will be great.

Re: C10 LS Swap Column shifter Issues

I've used 1801's on all of my LS swaps. I have pictures in my build thread.

I think that's what I used on mine (not sure if that's the exact part number) but similar.

I meant 1800 not 1801. The 1804 cable one should work, but it costs more.

I was just looking at your suburban, GREAT LOOKING BURBAN. I did see it's 1800. I just order it from ebay for 53.00. Looks like it will work on my truck also. Thanks.
