who should i send my booster to for restoration
Need to have my booster and bracket restored and replated. Any recommendations??
I have Jerry Macneish do some of my Camaro boosters but he's pricey. Any tips are appreciated |

I sent mine to ABS in Orange, Ca., just up the road a piece from me.
They did all that you want. They did a good job and am happy with the work. www.abspowerbrake.com They also rebuilt my original master cylinder, and front brake calipers. The only thing that didn't work out was that my original cast prop valve was shot, couldn't rebuild it. They replaced it with another OEM valve, but that one leaked also. They finally just gave me one of their brass valves, and that has been fine ever since. I had all that work done for $320, including all the plating (Booster, brackets, MC lid, and bails), and new prop valve. You might be able to find someone closer to you, but if not... Doug was the guy I worked with.
