72 Bucket Seat floor brackets
I need to purchase floor brackets for my 72 K5. I am in the process of installing the lowback buckets. I have a correct passenger side seat and brackets but not the drivers. I purchased a pair of 73-75 seat with brackets that I thought would fit, but nope!
Any leads are greatly appreciated! It snowed the other day and I took the Five out and about around the neighborhood! The top has not been on for almost 2 years. I just renewed my dues, sorry for the delay! This is a great site and it is very helpful in maintaining my truck! Last edited by blownz; 02-19-2015 at 09:14 PM. |

Re: 72 Bucket Seat floor brackets
What is the lenght (front to back) of the seat post mount that you need, are you using utility seats?

Jim,
I will get that measurement. I am using buckets from a 73-75 K5. Wayne |

Re: 72 Bucket Seat floor brackets
The driver side bracket is the same as a pickup seat bracket. So those would fit too. At least the one I pulled out of a 71 pickup fit perfect. Pretty sure only the passenger side was different on the blazer and pickup.

Re: 72 Bucket Seat floor brackets
If you still have the 73 brackets you could make work for the driver side with a little work.
Check this thread out, post #22: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=295016 Beats paying a couple $$ for the correct brackets if you already have the 73 + brackets |
