Headlight problem

Help

My dimmer switch came apart and now my headlights won't come on. The parking and side marker lights work, just no headlights. Is there an easy way to make contact, or do i need to buy a new dimmer.

Thanks

David

You need a new dimmer, but for now, you can jumper the connector from the hot to the low beam for temp use. Make sure you use at least 10 gauge wire, or you may start a fire!!

Replace your dimmer, it's not a big buck item. Check the condition of the plug and wiring also. This area is prone to corrosion from the stuff dragged in from your boots.

Thanks for the advice. I suppose vendors on here sell new dimmers, and you just unplug the old and plug in the new?

Thanks

David

Your local NAPA or any other parts store will carry that item also.
