Need a new 80psi oil pressure gauge.

Where can I get one of these with the 80 psi? Mine is sticking in places. From the ones that I have found so far they either have the L(low) to H(high) marks or they only go up to 60 psi which I assume is for a gas engine. I need one for a diesel. Might just have to go hit the junk yard.

Yes, the 80 psi oil pressure gauges are most commonly found in trucks with diesel engines. I think some medium duty trucks with gas engines might have used the 80 psi gauges as well.

Also, if it's a 1978+ electric gauge, the sending units tend to be more failure prone than the gauges themselves. So that might be worth checking if you haven't done so already.

I was kind of thinking it might be the sending unit too. It was unplugged until today when I plugged it back in and noticed how it was acting. I have a new sending unit already on an order I am placing. I might just see if that does the trick but may also buy a gauge anyway. Never hurts to have some spares.
