Well its gone........

Well a few hours ago Landon left with my old suburban. He and his wife came to look at it over the weekend, and he came back and got it this evening. I hate to see it go, but the timing was just not right for me.

Thank you all of you for all your help and what not over the past few months. I will still hang around the board and give me 2 cents and look for deals. Possibly sell some of the stuff I have laying around, if I can find it.

Thank you Landon, I hope you and your wife enjoy the new toy.

I know you guys like pics so here is one of the burb loaded up on the trailer getting ready to go to its new home.

I already miss my 72 Custom 20 4x4 that left last week for the east coast. I know it went to a good home. I really wanted to re create my 72 Cheyenne4x4 3/4 that I had since new with that truck. i just didnt have the time and I hate to say it but...Im just getting too old to be taking on the big projects like that. i was going to do the complete body off frame up rebuild on that truck, just to make everything look stock as if it came off the show room floor. Im just gonna be happy with the 71 Cheyenne 3/4 that I bought from Cheyenne10 2 months ago. Very nice truck that needs some sanding and TLC inside. Then paint. The new mirrors should be here anyday. I bought 3 sets to hopefully get one set that will be the perfect ones. FRENCHBLUE72 has a buddy that is going to weld up the holes on the doors and I may remove the aux tanks as I hate thos aftermarket ones with the side doors. I want this to be my perfect truck. The last thing added will be A/C. Then I will be one happy pappy!
:p

Made it home at 7:30 pm all safe and everything, made Jenna and Kevin drive her new toy off the trailer.:p She is happy with her new ride, as am I. Thanks a lot Jason. Hope you get another burb in the future. I need to get to work, take care and thanks again, we love the burb !!! Landon, Jenna and Kevin.
