road muck removal
so im trying to get the inside of fenders and under side of cab clean and all ive been successful with so far is a putty knife chipping away little by little are there any tricks or solvents that would make this any easier to get through...... im thinking of renting a power washer from home depot but not sure how much thats gonna do this stuff is pretty well bonded to surface

I used those small 30 grit sanding pads that screw onto an air sander or the wire wheels. Those seemed to do the trick...your dealing with under coating as well. If you have an electric wire sander than that works perrty good....that or 60 gril sand paper on a sander.

A cheaper way is oven cleaner. Spray on, let soak, and then scape off. It worked fairly well on thin build up stuff I had, but barely touched the real undercoating. Used aircraft stripper to get all the undercoating off before sending to the blaster.
