1951 3100 doors
I am putting a 1951 Chevy 3100 on an S10 frame. I have been looking at doors but it seems nobody sells new 51 doors. It seems to go 47-50 and 52-54. I believe the 51 was the first year for the vent window but now to my question. Are the older doors the same and can a vent window be added to one.
Thanks, Russell Posted via Mobile Device |

Re: 1951 3100 doors
Depending on your cab you may be able to use 52 doors with push button latches with a 47-51 striker plate. The striker plate area on 47-51 is different than 52-54. Its hard to add vents to a non vent door. If you want vent and turn down handle they you need a 51 door. There are no repro doors for 51 early.

Did you ever find doors? It's been two years and I'm pretty far away but I have a set in my garage that I'm not using.
