front suspension off 86 suburban
I want to keep my 6 lug wheels and I was wondering if the suburban has the big brake package with the 1 1/4 rotor so I can just order the 6 lug rotors.
thanks for your help. |

Re: front suspension off 86 suburban
I would think the Suburban would have the 1.25" rotors, but I couldn't guarantee it. Best thing is to just take a look.

Re: front suspension off 86 suburban
I thought 1/2 burbs of that era were still 5 lugs.

Re: front suspension off 86 suburban
They are.
But if the suburban has the 1.25" wide HD rotors,... the aftermarket 6-lug rotors are a direct bolt on. (some of the 81-87 trucks had the Light Duty 1" rotors)

Re: front suspension off 86 suburban
Ah, I was thinking he was looking to buy factory 6 lug rotors, which would not be on a 2WD.
