Exhaust opinions (not muffler choice)

Getting ready to have my LS running and I'm contemplating my exhaust exits and wanted some opinions. Straight out the back like newer trucks I won't even consider. I'm thinking either dumping after the rear axle or out behind the rear tires at an angle with chrome tips. Help me out here.

Re: Exhaust opinions (not muffler choice)

This is one of those matters of personal preference questions. I personally don't like the look of them angled back after the wheel. I prefer not to even see them. I would run them as far back as you can (depending on fuel tank and spare tire setup) and then dump them down.

It cab sound quite a bit different also depending on how you do it, so that may be something that effects your decision.

plus its quite a bit louder in the cab when you have your dumps before the rear wheels
