power window issue

The passanger side window rolled down fine but when i was rolling it up it popped out of the truck inside the truck. I got it back on but when ever i roll it up it just up half way and i start to hear cracking an i stop hitting the button.

Could the channel or the regulator be bent some how?

It could be the bar that the glass sits on is rusted, making the glass itself not set level any longer. You'll just have to take your door panel off and start looking around on the inside of the door and see what you find.

Re: power window issue

My first guess would be your rollers have failed . The window should not "jump" off track. Bad rollers are fairly common. The 2nd guess would be the track the rollers ride in has failed. Perhaps from rust or being bound up and the track has spread. The last possibility is one or both of the channels has gotten out of adjustment and now allows the glass to move enough to jump out of one of the channels.

Re: power window issue

Okay. The channel looks twisted. Might order everything to redo the inside. Since my bottom just took a crap.
