scored a set of slotted mags
My friend "Patina" Pete thought these would look good on my truck, so he gave them to me. What a guy! :-)

Re: scored a set of slotted mags
That's awesome!!! I love slotted mags. I got a 6 lug set a while back and they were covered in mud from sitting on the ground for years probably. I was so excited to get a 6 lug set that I didn't scrap most of the dirt off before I bought them... I don't know what happened but it looks like some rocks might have gotten inbetween the drum and the wheel.... is that common? I don't even know if they are useable

Re: scored a set of slotted mags
That will be sweet. Sounds like a hell of a guy. Love the old school slots. Look to be in good shape too.

Re: scored a set of slotted mags
That's really cool of him and cool for you. I've had my ears and eyes set on alert for a set of 5-lug 8s & 10s.

Re: scored a set of slotted mags
Those will look good on there. Alot of elbow grease and some mothers aluminum polish and i bet they clean up decent. Mine looked terrible before i cleaned them.
Good score.

Re: scored a set of slotted mags
Very cool! Can't beat the look of a highly polished slotted mag wheel. To me they have a timeless look. Simple, clean and functional. I say take Pete out for a pizza and beer for those....

Re: scored a set of slotted mags
I love that look. I'm still trying to decide between that, Rallies, and Cragar SSes.

Re: scored a set of slotted mags
Anyone have a pic of slotted mags with wide whitewalls? I like that old school gasser look and want to see what they would look like on one of our trucks as an option.

Re: scored a set of slotted mags
I love my 5-slots. I had 15x8.5 fronts and 15x10 rears, but the 10's were cracked. I put the 8.5's on the rear and got 15x7's for the front.

Re: scored a set of slotted mags
I like them on all trucks, but something about 8-luggers is just too tough! I have a set waiting to go one my '72 shortly. Here are a few past trucks of mine I had them on
