New Ridetech HQ shocks installed FINALLY

Well guys after waiting over 6 weeks to get my new shocks. Then another 2 more weeks to get the CORRECT size I finally installed the new HQ adjustables.

The answer is YES they are an amazing improvement. Far and above the standard KYB that come with the ECE kit. And the fact that they can be adjusted to ones liking is a huge plus.

Second part of install was new Hotchkis springs to replace the ECE springs.
Originally truck was 1.5 spring and spindles up front and 6" spring and shock relocates in back.
Now the springs from Hotchkis are 2" in front and still 6" in rear.

Truck is at least 3/4" lower in front and rear is about the same.
I CANNOT STRESS ENOUGH HOW MUCH SMOOTHER THESE SPRINGS RIDE!!!!

Between the two separate instals the truck is an absolutely different animal.

I couldn't be happier.
Thanks

Top is old spring
Bottom is new install.

Not a huge difference but note front end wheel well is now flush with tire, which was my goal. Rear will receive 1" block to do the same.

Glad you're happy! These C-10 are pretty wicked when they get low and we had a lot of fun developing our system for this platform!

Nice Feedback DentGuy. Truck looks good.

Dan, is the eye on top of the piston rod removable? Looking for shocks I can add a bump stop to.

It is removable, however they are put on pretty sung and you can damage the shaft trying to clamp it without the proper tools.
