If your track bar is adjustable, just go for it. Make sure your truck is weighted at ride height, and then measure just like you did before.

That is what an adjustable bar is for. I used a come along to pull mine into the right position, put the threads where I needed them, and popped it into place. Easy-peasy.

LOL, when I read the title it reminded me of when I was young. the rear tires were always bald from burning out and dad wanted to know why. I said the rear end needed alignment...

I would make sure your bed is on straight. Measure the gap between the cab and the bed on the left and right corners to make sure the gap is the same. My bed was cocked causing my measurements to be off.
