Re: Moter mount position
The two sets are stamped/labeled "6" and "8" on the engine mount stands...put the engine mounts for the V8's in the "8" hole and inlines in the "6" hole. Just move the engine mounts on the stand, and you will be good to go.

Re: Moter mount position
Steve, I changed the mounts on my six years ago, so I knew about the two sets of bolt holes. As I remember, holding the nuts on the back was a bit of a challenge.

Re: Moter mount position
looks to me like pulling the mount brackets then move the mounts out with the brackets on the benchthen reinstall brackets is the way to go I think?

Re: Moter mount position
The bottom bolts on the plates, that go to the crossmember...are also a PITA to get to. Half a dozen of one, 6 of the other...either way, it kind of sucks.

Re: Moter mount position
Interesting. I swapped a 350 into my fathers truck (80 k10) that had a 250 in it from the factory. Dropped right in and everything lined up.
